Butterfly Effect: Rats With Bushy Tails
Shoot the squirrel: See Update #1 below
Ignore the squirrel: See Update #2 below

[Chapter 1] During the shooting tutorial, a squirrel will get on top of one of the barrels. The squirrel can be targeted. Shooting it will prompt a crow attack on Sam, scratching her forehead.

Update #1 - Dead squirrel

During the psycho chase sequence in Chapter 5, there will be an option for Sam to hide in an elevator shaft to escape her pursuer. If the squirrel in Chapter 1 was shot by Chris, Sam will be injured in the forehead again during this sequence and her blood will give away her position, leading the psycho to her hiding location.

Update #2 - Squirrel was unharmed/ "Nature in Balance"

During the psycho chase sequence in Chapter 5, there will be an option for Sam to hide in an elevator shaft to escape her pursuer. If the squirrel in Chapter 1 was unharmed, Sam will be able to hide successfully from the psycho.
