Butterfly Effect: Man's Best Friend |
Perform the action prompt and kick the wolf |
Don't do anything |
After getting the security card from the morgue, you'll have to enter the chapel next. Upon entering the chapel, you'll find another wolf. You'll have the option to kick it or keep calm.
Butterfly Effect Update: (Kick the wolf)
Kicking the wolf will keep it unfriendly towards you but it won't attack you even when you're exploring the chapel. However, you'll miss a corresponding trophy in the later chapter. (And a furry pal)
Butterfly Effect Update: (Don't kick the wolf)
Not kicking the wolf will give you a chance to befriend it. Upon getting near, you'll have an option to back off or approach it. Approach it to trigger the positive effects of this butterfly effect scene. If you happened to kick it, make sure to open the chest in the middle of the chapel and use the bone inside to feed it to the wolf.
Butterfly Effect Update
[Chapter 9] When Mike returns to the Sanatorium later in Chapter 9, his furry pal will reappear and help him. When you get chased by the Wendigo and you messed up the QTEs, the wolf will sacrifice itself to save Mike by jumping and attacking the Wendigo.
Butterfly Effect Update
[Chapter 9] If you played carefully and very well that you didn't get attacked by the Wendigo up close, you'll have the option to escape or barricade the room near the end of the chapter. If you escape, your wolf friend will die from the hands of the wendigo. Choose barricade to prevent the wendigo from chasing after you or killing your wolf friend. You'll also unlock the "Skillful Wolf Man" Trophy.
