How to Unlock a Super Specialty

Super Specialties are group specialties that allows you to create even more items or enjoy enhanced effects. These are unlocked once you have at least two characters with the required specialties at around LV3. So for example, you can unlock the Orchestra super spec if you have one character with LV3+ Music and another one with the LV3+ art.

You can track the party's Super Specialty levels and the ones that remain to be unlocked by pressing X while viewing their individual skill screens.

How to Level Up Super Specialties

The Super Specialty's level is calculated as the sum of all your character's (required) specialties divided by 3. This calculation enables you to spread out the Specialty levels among all your party members, allowing you to max out the Super Specialty level without maxing out individual party members' specialties. Like specialties, your Super Specialties can be maxed out at LV10.

What Super Specialties Should be Prioritized?

Try to learn Orchestra as early as possible. This is a very powerful Super Specialty since it increases the success rate of all other specialties, regardless of level or talent. This also helps unlocking Secret Talents a lot easier. On top of unlocking this Super Specialty, you'll need several characters and instruments. Most of the instruments can be bought quite early in the item shop in Eckdart and you'll most likely have at least 6 characters by the time you visit Ionis for the first time.

Next, you can consider learning Enlightenment. This super Specialty lowers some of your characters stats in exchange for significantly increasing the SP gained upon level up. This super specialty is particularly effective when you're farming for EXP or using the Counterfeit Medal trick.

Finally, Contraband. The main downside for this super Specialty is that your characters lose Affection Level but that can be easily mitigated later on with their own published books. However, your main objective for getting this super specialty as early as possible is to produce at least one Counterfeit Medal, which you can reproduce later on with Replication. The consumable item for this super specialty is Premium Paper which you can buy in Ionis.
