How to Recruit Erys

You must at least have the Silvalant Emblem. Next, head to Old Race Ruins. This is an optional map that will allow you to recruit Erys if you met the right conditions. Even if you’re not planning to recruit her, you can still get good loot from the chests inside. Please follow the link for the directions on how to reach Erys' Chamber.

To reach it, start off from Silvalant. Enlarge your world map and head to the northeastern tip of the frigid continent, as shown below. Continue until you reach a split path along the coastal cliffs. Take the path north, then turn to the left. This is an unmarked location so just approach the dead end and you’ll enter this dungeon automatically. If you reached the Cape of Silvalant, you’ve gone too far. Simply backtrack to the split and head north.

After reaching, Erys' Chamber and finding her frozen body, you'll have the option to either help Ioshua getting Erys' body off the crystal or convince him to leave Erys' body alone.

Here are some conditions depending on your party Composition:

* Must have Ashlay, Ioshua and Mavelle in your party.

* If you have Ashlay and decide to help Ioshua, you’ll be able to recruit Erys. However, you’ll lose Mavelle permanently and she will be replaced by Erys

* If you have Cyuss in your party and you decided to help Ioshua, you won’t be able to recruit Erys and you’ll LOSE Mavelle permanently.

* If you decide to leave Erys’ body alone, you can still keep Mavelle but you won’t get Erys anymore. You won’t unlock the fifth movie in the gallery.
