Gabriella is a secret, powerful boss in the game. She’s extremely powerful and difficult that even higher level characters (LV100+) can have problems dealing with her. The main reason you’ll want to fight her is to have the chance to get the most powerful accessory in the game, the Archangel’s Bracelet. She has a 10% chance to drop this accessory so you’ll need to fight her several times until she drops it or if you’re extremely lucky, you may get it on your first attempt.

Since Gabriella is an optional boss that can be summoned multiple times, there’s really no need to summon her until you’re at a comfortably high level with passable Equipment. To summon her you’ll need the following:
* Someone with Listening Talent, with Music LV10
* Silver Trumpet
* Stock of Feather Pens (for composing)
* Stock of Conductor’s Batons (for performing)
First, compose the song “Devil’s Aria” (Trumpet 1) from the Silver Trumpet. You may need to have the Music Editor support item and/or the Orchestra (Super Specialty) BGM playing in the background to increase the chances of successfully composing the song.
After unlocking it, simply play the song via the character with LV10 Music Specialty while on the world map. Exit the menu to trigger the battle automatically. You can fight her over and over again, as much as you want. Make sure to save every time you defeat her.
On top of dishing out high damage per attack, your other huge problem is Petrification. Gabriella can petrify characters with her attacks which poses a huge problem since you’ll be wasting item usage and spell cooldown to cure that status ailment. Your first preparation should be giving your characters immunity to that disabling status ailment. Here are the anti-petrification Equipment you should consider giving to your characters who will face Gabriella:
* Sylvan Mail (1)
* Dueling Suit (2)
* Robe of Deception (3)
* Amulet of Flexibility (4)
(1) Forge from Meteorite via Blacksmith, with Magical Rasp
(2) Forge from Moonrock via Blacksmith, without Magical Rasp -or- Damascus, with Magical Rasp
(3) Forge from Rune Metal via Blacksmith, without Magical Rasp
(4) Craft from Iron using Cyuss, Ioshua, Mavelle, T’nique, Welch, and Erys
The Robe of Deception doesn’t provide that much protection so you may consider equipping the Amulet of Flexibility instead. The downside is that it will take up an accessory slot.
Equipping your characters with Star Guard is also a good option. Aside from having high block rate, it also sprays out multiple star-like projectiles that damage the attacker. At close range, this can deal a lot of damage. This Equipment can’t be crafted and can only be found in the Space-Time Laboratory, Revorse Tower, and Cave of the Seven Stars.
HP: 108,500
MP: 500
234,375 EXP
31,250 Fol
* Weak against Dark
* Immune to status ailments and debuffs
Manually controlling your healer is highly recommended. Always keep your party’s HP at full with healing Spells and consumables. Gabriella’s attacks can one-shot characters, except those with max HP already (9999). The best position for your healer is in the very corner of the battlefield. This will lower the chances of your healer getting hit by most of Gabriella’s attacks, except when your healer gets targeted specifically.
Gabriella’s Air Slash can reach anywhere in the battlefield so beware of the slow-moving projectile especially when she targets your spellcaster in the corner of the battlefield. This attack passes through several characters and can petrify them as well.
Also, avoid using AoE arts. Gabriella moves around the battlefield quickly and if your fighter’s AoE attack doesn’t connect, it will just leave him/her vulnerable, as shown below.
It’s possible to trap Gabriella between your characters. Once she’s flanked, she’ll suffer great damage especially if your fighters can chain their multi-hit arts on her. It’s also better if your fighters have maxed out Combat Skills like Godspeed, Feint, Guard Break, and Power Burst. This will allow them to break through Gabriella’s guard with relative ease and deal damage.
