Reuniting at Ionis

If you follow the road from Eckdart, you’ll find Ionis along the way so it’s impossible to miss it.

For your first visit, you’ll immediately see a cutscene with Ronyx and a new character, Mavelle. After the following scenes, Ronyx will now rejoin your party. Mavelle will join your party depending on specific conditions listed below.

Recruiting Mavelle

You should decide as early as now if you want to keep Mavelle or if you want to Recruit Erys later on. You can create a backup save now just in case you’ll want to recruit Erys later on and use her to the end-game.

* If you have Ashlay or Ioshua or both, she’ll join automatically

* If you have Cyuss but without Ioshua, she won’t join you

* If you have Phia and Ioshua, she won’t join you but you’ll have the chance to recruit her later on

* If you don’t have the four characters mentioned above, you’ll still have the chance to get her later

Since you’re in Ionis with more characters, you’ll be able to start working on the tricks to make your gameplay a lot easier. This is because almost all the key items you need to perform these tricks like the Lezard Flask for Alchemy, the Magic Camera for reproduction, Premium Paper for forging documents, etc.can be bought from the city’s item shop, on top of being able to recruit 1-2 new characters at this point of the story.

* Machinist Money Trick

Search the house in the left side of town to get a Resurrection Elixir from a chest. There is also a new Skill Set available (Knowledge 3) so make sure you grab it from the Skill Guild. Once you’re done with your business in town, exit the town.
