Project Wingman’s campaign has 21 missions in total, with each mission averaging around 10-15 minutes to complete. On a good run without restarts, accidents, or grinding, you may finish the entire campaign more or less around 5 hours. Of course, accidents will happen and you may encounter challenges but don’t worry! We’ll do our best to help you.While we’ll offer pointers and tips, ultimately, the pilot behind the plane is still you so if you’re having problems completing a mission, try a different plane or approach, or even swallow your pride and attempt the mission on a lower difficulty. In this mission, you’ll be facing a huge number of ground units, along with airships, some enemy aircraft squadrons, and later on, two heavily armored and armed land battleships. If you have the ACG-01 Chimera, load it with the ASM
and the other two slots with MLAG
. For any other aircraft, bring MLAA
(for quickly destroying multiple airship armaments) and MLAG if available.
Take off from the temporary highway runway to start the mission. Once you’re in the AO, head towards the group of targets. The air battlecruiser will be already flying around the priority ground targets so if you have ASM on the Chimera, you can already lock-on to it and shoot it out of the sky. Switch to your MLAGs and release your first volley to take out several ground units at once.
There are also advanced AA defenses scattered around the area. Seek out these C-RAMs, SAMs, and Railgun
batteries to lessen the threat to you and your allies. Once these are out, engage and destroy the optional enemy aircraft to get some free credits. Clean up the remaining targets until the enemies release two land battleships.
These massive heavily armored and heavily armed behemoths are pretty much giant tanks with multiple powerful armaments. Similar to normal airships and naval ships, you have to destroy the armaments before you can target the hull itself and destroy the actual vehicle. If you have the Chimera, a single ASM
hit can destroy these in one shot. After destroying the two land battleships, land your aircraft on the runway highway or skip the sequence to complete the mission.
There are no changes in the enemy team composition or behavior.
