This is a standard boss battle, with Mira taking the role of the damage dealer,
Wendy as support, and
Lucy as backup support and attacker. Start by having Wendy cast her Arms magic to boost everyone’s ATK. Zirconis will seem to be interested in Lucy so if you want to play it safe, you can have her Guard and let Wendy and Mira do their thing. However, you can have Lucy attack if her HP is full to increase your team’s damage output. Keep an eye out for Mira’s MP as well. She’ll be using her most powerful attacks and consume a lot of MP in the process. It’s very possible for her to almost completely drain her MP before the battle ends so make sure to use a Bottled Ethernano to restore some of her MP.
Zirconis has some attacks that may heavily damage
Wendy. His Jade Dragon Roar is an AoE attack that will pretty much require you to heal after enduring the damage. Keep attacking and healing until you fill up your fairy gauge. Immediately use a
Magic Chain to heavily damage the boss. However, one magic chain alone won’t be enough to defeat this pervasive dragon. When enough damage has been dealt, Zirconis will just straight up seize
Lucy and grab her, effectively removing her from your party until she’s released. Zirconis’ arm will have a separate HP gauge.
Deal more damage to the boss to rescue and release
Lucy. However, before the dragon gets completely defeated, an unexpected ally will arrive. At this point, Zirconis should be hanging by a thread. Keep attacking and you should be able to defeat him within your turn.
