Chapter 2 Requests

Whose Stuff is This?

[-] Search for the package’s owner.

There are three guards marked on the map. Head to the town and speak to each of them. After that, head to the West Exit and talk to the guard with a different uniform color to complete the request.

Travel to Lucy’s House to trigger a scene. Next, head over to the marker past the bridge then off to the cathedral next.

[-] Head to Fairy Hills

Next, Fast-Travel to Fairy Hills to trigger another scene. Once done, return to the guild to report and complete the request.

Wolf Extermination

[-] Take care of the wolf pack.

Head to the Great Plains and take out the pack of wolves prowling near the middle of the map. Once all the marked enemies are taken care of, report back to the guild to complete the request and obtain your rewards.

Echoing Wingbeats

After accepting the quest, Wendy will be a locked character but you’ll have two free slots to fill in. Choose any two allies you want to bring along then exit the team management screen to get an overview about the request.

[-] Handle the flutterers in Boundary Forest

Head to the northwest to find the mission marker, near Lisanna and Elfman. Head to the marker to trigger a cutscene. After the conversation, the flutterers you have to dispose of will arrive and you’ll be thrown into battle. Defeat all of them then report back to the guild to complete the request.

Arrest the Laundry Lunatic

[-] Identify the Laundry Lunatic

Fast-Travel to Fairy Hills to trigger a short cutscene. Shortly after, some monsters will appear and steal the “laundry”.

[-] Take back the clothes that were stolen.

Talk to the marked NPCs near Lucy’s house and the boy in front of the cathedral to trigger a battle. Defeat the culprit then Fast-Travel to the guild. Exit the building to find another flutterer in the northeast corner. Finally, report back to the guild to complete the quest.

Challenge the Beast

[-] Subdue the Beast

Travel to the Great Plains to trigger the battle automatically against the Beast. There’s three of them and are positioned separately so you’ll be forced to focus-fire them one-by-one. Erza’s Photon Slicer works well against them so bringing her will help a lot in this battle. Next, have Wendy focus on healing and providing attack and defense buffs to your other members.

After wiping out the initial wave of Beasts, you’ll still have to hunt down the remaining two groups nearby. They’re quite powerful and you’ll take a beating if you’re not careful so don’t hesitate to retreat back to the guild to fully heal your party before engaging the other beast groups. After defeating all marked targets, report back to the guild to complete the request.

Something Fishy Going On

[-] Take care of the monsters on the beach

After accepting the request, travel to Akane Beach and head to the mission marker to trigger a short monologue from Erza. You’ll be thrown into battle shortly after. The enemies are Baby Land Whales which don’t have weaknesses or resistances. They should be very easy to defeat at this point so just wipe them out normally. After the battle, defeat the remaining enemies on the beach then report back to the guild to complete the quest and get your rewards.

Beach Ecology

[-] Fight the monsters on the shore.

After accepting the request, travel to Akane Beach and head to the mission marker to fight the first group of lizardmen blocking the path. Next, cross the bridge to trigger another battle with a different group of lizard monsters. After defeating them, report back to the guild to complete the mission.

A Treasure Hidden in Sand

[-] Gather the treasure hidden on the beach.

After accepting the request, travel to Akane Beach and defeat the marked Baby Land Whales at the starting area, then pick up the items they drop. Next, head to the other beachside location to the northeast to find the remaining two monsters. Collect the last couple of hidden treasures then report back to the guild to complete the quest and get your rewards.
