When they arrive Serah and Noel are met by Odin, who carries them onto the field of battle where Caius and the Chaos await you!

The battle resumes and Caius starts with full protections up so use your SAB to take away his protection and then kick his ass!  You tear down his health and then he re-surges back at full health and you do it again for the win! 

After you defeat him (an easy five-star battle) and then you get a lengthy CS in which Caius is confronted with the truth.  A painful truth, a truth that Caius cannot handle, and he shows that by resisting it...

This goes on until Noel is forced to deliver the killing blow -- and that unleashes the Chaos!  What?  You though this was over?  Cha!  Right!

Start out by activating your SAB MED to debuff and heal then switch to attack, and you will easily take out the summoned versions that serve as his outriders.  When you take them out you get to wail on him -- ideally you will take him out in two complete Staggers -- triggering another CS in which Caius begs Noel again to kill him -- and claims that he has killed Lightning...

Noel refuses to kill Caius -- then Caius tries to force the issue -- you get a Cinematic and if you pull it off you stop short of the kill -- but then Caius takes matters into his own hands...

The closing CS plays out and I have nothing to say about that -- it and the last boss fight are yours to experience for your own, which is only right.  They are personal experiences after all...  You worked hard to get here, you don't need to see how I did it.  You should celebrate your victories and your defeats yourself.  I am OK with that.

While the story has come to an end -- sort of -- the game is not actually over for you mates!  After the credits play out (and you should watch them, after all these people made this most excellent game!)  you will be awarded 30,000 CP, and receive the Paradox Scope, and the Hope  Gate Seal, as well as unlock Valhalla AF???.  You will also unlock the Achievement "Epic Finisher" (90 G) Followed the story to its conclusion.

I do not know how important the CP will be for you, but getting the Paradox Scope is really important since it is crucial to seeing the alternate endings...
