The process of playing through the game and writing this walkthrough and guide was a tough and lengthy one, and in the process delivered much satisfaction to the author, who is a long-time fan of and player of the Final Fantasy series.  The massive efforts that were undertaken in creating this guide and the accompanying support and reference matter was not accomplished alone or in a vacuum...  

There are specific people who need to be both acknowledged and heartily and sincerely thanked and who should be thanked in a more profound manner than is possible using only the written word...  The following individuals therefore should consider themselves vigorously thanked, slapped on the back, hugged, in some cases kissed, their hand being shaken with great force and emotion, while large mugs of imaginary ice-cold beer is placed on the table in front of them along with heaping baskets of hot and steaming but very tasty onion rings or their favorite pub food, while words of thanks overflow from the mouth of the author, including:
