Added:

In previous Mainstream Pokemon Games, there was usually a character, commonly referred to as the IV Judge, that could be found in each that would advise you of how good your Pokemon's Individual Values were. Individual Values are hidden Stats that a Pokemon has for each and every one of its stat categories, being a number anywhere from zero to thirty-one. The closer to thirty-one, the Maximum Individual Value for any one stat, the higher this stat could be when said Pokemon reached Level 100.

In this game, however, the IV Judge is no more. Instead, there is an IV Judge Feature that can be obtained. In order to obtain it, you must show Professor Oak's Aide at the Route 11/Route 12 Gate that you have caught at least thirty different Pokemon Species. Once you have, the feature will be unlocked and can be found on a Pokemon's Summary Screen by pressing the Y Button or by shaking your controller.
