Whether you're New to the Pokemon Franchise or an experienced veteran yourself, it is key to build a great Pokemon Team in order to make it through the Main Storyline of any Mainstream Pokemon Game. It's no secret that the best Pokemon Teams one can build revolves around being balanced, having a number of Pokemon of varying types. If you want to build the Best Pokemon Team possible for this game, you will need to keep this at the forefront while constructing your team.
When it comes to most players, they will most likely like to keep their Starter Partner Pokemon apart of their team. Even though Eevee isn't all that great of a Pokemon, there are a few ways you can make it a viable part of your team. To start, using Pokemon Candy on it can help bolster its Stats, especially since it already has fabulous perfect Individual Values. On top of this, the Move Tutors you will come across during your journey will help teach your Starter Partner Pokemon strong attacks it can't usually learn, all of which will be of differing types. Having four moves of four different types will help your Starter Partner Pokemon be one step ahead of the game.
As for the remaining members of your team, you can't go wrong with picks like Dragonite, Rhydon, Gyarados, Alakazam, and Arcanine. All five of these Pokemon possess serious offensive potential, and outside of Rhydon, the remaining four are pretty quick as well. But what makes them all the more better is they can learn incredibly strong attacks of all sorts of types! No opponent you will come across during the Main Storyline will be able to handle the sort of power these five Pokemon plus your Starter Partner Pokemon will have as a group, especially if each of these Pokemon have four strong attacks that are each of a different type. None of the Gym Leaders, nor Team Rocket, nor the Elite Four, not even your Rival will be able to stop a team like this!
