Last Updated:

After defeating the Elite Four and becoming the newest Kanto Region Pokemon Champion, you can battle all of the Gym Leaders in a rematch on a daily basis back in their given Pokemon Gyms. Each Gym Leader will have a team far different than the one you faced originally, usually being much stronger than before with additional Pokemon too. On top of this, you will earn Experience and Money every day you defeat them.

When is comes to Sabrina, the Safforn City Gym Leader, her team has barely changed at all. In your first battle with her, Sabrina will use four different Psychic Type Pokemon that are all at higher than Level 40. When faced in a rematch, Sabrina will have five Pokemon, four of which will be the same Pokemon Species as in your first battle against her (except at higher Levels). To be exact, all of her Pokemon this time around will be at Level 56, with the exception of her Alakazam that will be at Level 57. In all, Sabrina will battle with Mr. Mime, Jynx, Hypno, Slowbro and Alakazam.

Just like your first match with her, Sabrina's Pokemon Team will especially weak to Ghost Type Pokemon. However, since most of the Ghost Type Pokemon found within the Kanto Region are also part Poison Types, they are actually weak against Psychic Type Attacks at the same time. Because of this, it is not recommend to use Ghost Types against Sabrina. Instead, a balanced team of high leveled Pokemon (preferably Level 55 of greater) should do the trick. Her Mr. Mime is part Fairy Type and thus is weak against Steel Type Attacks, her Jynx is part Ice Type and thus is weak against Steel Type Attacks and Fire Type Attacks, and her Slowbro is part Water Type and thus is weak against Electric Type Attacks.
