Cerulean City

Last Updated:

Just beyond Mt. Moon and the eastern section of Route 4 is Cerulean City, the place where the next Pokemon Gym can be found. The first Alolan Trade can also be found in Cerulean City, as well as a Move Tutor that will teach your Starter Partner Pokemon special moves. The Cerulean City Gym requires you to have a Pokemon in your Party that is at Level 15 or higher in order for you to challenge it, which is why it is recommended to first head north of Cerulean City on Route 24 to gain some extra Experience. After defeating the Pokemon Gym, you will need to defeat a Team Rocket Grunt causing trouble in the city before proceeding onward.
