How To Earn More Experience From Captures

Unlike previous Mainstream Pokemon Games, your Pokemon Team will actually gain experience every time you capture a Wild Pokemon. Much like how you use to gain experience from defeating Wild Pokemon in battle, you will earn experience for catching Wild Pokemon based on their Species, Levels and Combat Powers. However, believe it or not, there are a number of things players can do to earn even more experience (and Item Rewards) when capturing Wild Pokemon!

The first thing players can do to boost the experience they earn from catching Wild Pokemon is by completing Combo Throws, earning more experience the larger the combo they complete. Players will also earn more experience based on how well they throw their Poke Balls; the better the throw, the more experience their Pokemon will earn. If a Wild Pokemon is either Extra Small, Small, Large, or Extra Large than they normally should be, you will also earn more experience from catching them. Finally, if two players are playing the game at the same time and throw a Poke Ball at a Wild Pokemon in Sync with one another, they will also earn more experience from doing this.
