Disable Visual Effects

Published by SuperCheats Staff on Sep 22nd 2013
Disabling Visual effects can make your computer’s performance higher for the cost of visual effects. If your PC is fast enough, you can just ignore this but if your computer barely keeps up with Windows 7, this might help.

How to Turn off Visual Effects

  1. Click on the Windows Button located on the lower left of the screen then click
    Control Panel.

  2. Guide Image

  3. Click on the Search Bar located in the upper left of the window then type in “Performance Information and Tools” then click Performance Information and Tools

  4. Guide Image

  5. On the left pane, click Adjust visual effects

  6. Guide Image

  7. Click Adjust for best performance.
