How to Disable User Account Control (UAC)

Published by SuperCheats Staff on Aug 31st 2013
User Account Control is a security feature in Windows 7 that notifies the user when changes are going to be made in the computer. This applies to both trusted and unknown applications. Since administrator-level access is required before applying these settings, ordinary users who don’t share their machines will find frequent UAC pop-ups annoying and a hassle especially when they’re installing or making simple changes.
