Connect to a projector

Projectors are used to connect your computer for a presentation, movie and many more. Usually a laptop is always used for projectors and when the projector cable is connected, it automatically connects to the projector but not always. I will show you how to connect to a projector manually.

How to connect to a projector:


  1. Click the Windows Button located on the lower left edge of the screen then click
    Control Panel.

  2. Click on Connect to a Projector.

  3. This window should pop-up. Select which do you want your desktop to be displayed.
    - Computer Only – shows your desktop only on your computer.
    - Duplicate – shows your desktop only on your computer and projector.
    - Extend – extends your desktop from your computer or projector.
    - Projector Only – shows your desktop only on the projector
