Determine your Windows 7 if it’s 64 bit or 32 bit

Published by SuperCheats Staff on Nov 1st 2013
Windows 7 came with two versions which are the 32 bit and 64 bit. Both have different versions. One of the most common reason is if your memory is 16 gb, 32 bit won’t utilize all the memory as it is one of the limitations. There are also installers specifically for 32 bit and 64 bit.

How to determine if your Windows 7 is 64 bit or 32 bit:

  1. Click the Windows Button located on the lower left edge of the screen then click Control Panel.

  2. Guide Image

  3. Click System and Security.

  5. Click System.

  7. On the System Category, look at the System Type. It should be 32-bit Operating System or 64-bit Operating System depending on what version of Windows 7 you installed.
