Creating a User Account

Creating user accounts enables the privacy of files and limiting one’s use of the program. One of the standard user limitations is that you can’t modify the programs in the program files without the permission of the Administrator. Usually, it is used if the computer has multiple users.

How to Create a User Account

1. Click the Windows Button located on the lower left edge of the screen then click
   Control Panel.





2. Click User Accounts and Family Safety.





3. Click User Accounts.





4. Click Manage another account.





5. Click Create a new account..





6. Type in your Account name preferably the name of the user so you can distinguish each user and then choose whether Standard User or Administrator but I recommend Standard User because you don’t you don’t want your files to be deleted or modified without your consent. Finally, Click Create account.





7. The created account should now appear on this screen.
