Connect to a Wireless Network

Usually, a Wireless Network is used for laptops because you really don't want to hang around in one place like a desktop computer does.

How to Connect to a Wireless Network

1. Click the[strong Wifi icon[/strong] located near the Date and Time on the lower right of the screen. Click which network you want to connect to and click Connect. You can tick Connect automatically checkbox if you want to/own the Connection so that whenever the connection is up or you are within that area, you will connect automatically.





Usually, a network should have a security key, unless you know the password, you should ask the person who is in charge of the network for the password. Depending on the network, some don’t have security key at all usually in public areas like mall. Key in the password and click OK and you should be able to connect to the Wireless Network.
