Create and Use a Sytem Restore Point

Published by SuperCheats Staff on Sep 4th 2013
How to create a Restore Point?

System Restore will restore your earlier point in time. With this, you can undo any system changes in your computer without damaging your files. Sometimes, installing a program or software will change your computer’s behaviour which you don’t expect to happen. Uninstalling usually resolves this problem but if it doesn't get fixed, try restoring your computer’s system.

In order to use this feature, you must create a Restore Point which records your information about installed files, setting and other system information.

Creating a System Restore Point

  1. Click on the Windows Button located on the lower left of the screen then right-click on Computer then click on Properties

  2. Guide Image

  3. On the left pane, click on System Protection

  4. Guide Image

  5. On the System Protection Tab, click Create.

  7. Type a Description which you think is necessary but don’t type the date and time as it is added automatically then click Create.
