Team Flare Secret HQ

Last Updated:
As you arrive in Geosenge Town, you will notice that some houses have toppled over, and the massive weapon looms in the middle of the city. The town cannot be accessed on foot, and certain buildings cannot be entered as there are Team Flare members blocking the way. You can also have a picture with the ultimate weapon if you want. Stock up on your desired Pokéballs if you do not want to make a return trip from the lab.

Head for the northwest part of the town, the area that led to a dead end when you first visited. You will then be confronted by a Team Flare Grunt. Follow him after the battle, and your rival will arrive.

Team Flare Grunt (Prize Money: P1,800)
  • LV45 Manectric (Electric)
  • LV45 Scrafty (Dark/Fighting)
  • LV45 Golbat (Poison/Flying)

Enter the newly opened path and take the elevator down. As soon as you exit, you will reach a floor filled with Team Flare members. None of them are trainers, so just walk straight ahead and up the stairs to meet Lysandre.

Team Flare Lysandre (Prize Money: P10,200)
  • LV47 Mienshao (Fighting)
  • LV51 Gyarados (Water/Flying)
  • LV49 Pyroar (Fire/Normal)
  • LV47 Honchkrow (Dark/Flying)

Lysandre will pretty much have the same Pokémon as when you fought him back at Lysandre Labs, only that they are two levels stronger. The only difference here is that his Murkrow has evolved to a Honchcrow.

After you defeat Lysandre, you will be told to look for the Legendary Pokémon. Head to the left door to proceed, but before doing so, you can take a peek behind Lysandre to see the Legendary Pokémon in the lowest floor, though it has not yet awakened.

You will reach a long, straightforward path. Just follow the hall until you encounter some Team Flare Members. You will be joined by your rival in double battles for this area.

Team Flare Admin and Team Flare Grunt (Prize Money: P7,840)
  • LV50 Manectric (Electric)
  • LV48 Mightyena(Dark)

Team Flare Admin and Team Flare Grunt (Prize Money: P7,840)
  • LV50 Houndoom (Dark/Fire)
  • LV48 Scrafty (Dark/Fighting)

As you defeat the second set of trainers, Shauna will catch up to you. She won’t be following you immediately though. Continue down the stairs after the scene for one more battle for this area.

Team Flare Admin and Team Flare Grunt (Prize Money: P7,840)
  • LV50 Houndoom (Dark/Fire)
  • LV48 Scrafty (Dark/Fighting)

You will reach a locked door and Shauna will show her worth by opening it for you.

Enter the room to reach the Legendary Pokémon. Shauna will be chased out first, your rival will go after her. You will be left to take care of four more members. Battle them once you are ready.

Team Flare Admin (Prize Money: P3,840)
  • LV47 Liepard (Dark)
  • LV48 Manectric (Electric)

Team Flare Admin (Prize Money: P4,000)
  • LV50 Swalot (Poison)

Team Flare Admin (Prize Money: P4,000)
  • LV50 Golbat (Flying/Poison)

Team Flare Admin (Prize Money: P3,840)
  • LV47 Mightyena (Dark)
  • LV48 Houndoom (Dark/Fire)

Once you defeat the last Admin, save your game. You may use your O. Power, Capture Power if you wish. Approach the cocoon for a cutscene and battle with this game’s Legendary Pokémon, Yveltal.

Sleep would be the best status condition to inflict when capturing Yveltal. Use a Pokémon that knows either Sleep Powder or Hypnosis, then switch to a False Swiper. Once its HP is down to 1, use whatever Pokéball you desire. Do not use your Master Ball yet as it is quite easy to catch this Pokémon. Do not worry if you accidentally defeat it, you can fight it again.

As soon as you capture it, you will be asked if you want to add it to your party. Do the Pokémon a favor and add it to your party as it wants to help you anyway. Your rival and Shauna will arrive. Lysandre will also arrive with a new get up, and challenge you to another battle.

Team Flare Boss Lysandre (Prize Money: P10,600)
  • LV49 Mienshao (Fighting)
  • LV53 Gyarados (Water/Flying)
  • LV51 Pyroar (Fire/Normal)
  • LV49 Honchkrow (Dark/Flying)

His Pokémon are the same as earlier on, this time they are another two levels higher. Keep to your strategy but once he sends out Gyarados, he will Mega Evolve it to a Mega Gyarados, thus changing its type to Dark/Water. Feel free to take advantage of this as it opens up more weaknesses for it.

After the battle, Lysandre will launch the weapon and it will disappear. You will end up in the area where the weapon used to be, and our favorite Masked Heroes and your other friends will be there. Watch the following scene then it’s back to Anistar City and to Route 18 from there.
