The Laverre City Gym specializes in Fairy-type Pokémon. The weakness of Fairy-type Pokémon are Poison and Steel while they are resistant to Fighting, Bug and Dark. Dragon-type moves do not affect them at all. It is best to bring Pokémon that can use Poison or Steel-type as well as another with Fire or Ground-type as some Pokémon here are Fairy/Steel, and their only weakness are either Fire or Ground-type moves.
The gimmick of this gym is warps. Step on a warp and you will be transported to a different room. Below is a map of the Gym. If you want the path with the least Pokémon trainers, follow 1-2-3-4-D-E while the route with the most trainers is A-B-C-D-E.
Enter the upper left portal for the first battle.
Furisode Girl Kali (Prize Money: P2,736)
The second trainer would be to the lower left
Furisode Girl Linnea (Prize Money: P2,880)
The next trainer is to the lower left as well. Prepare your Pokémon that knows a Fire or Ground-type move.
Furisode Girl Blossom (Prize Money: P2,664)
Since Klefki is part Steel-type, it negates all the Fairy-type’s weakness. It should easily go down with a Fire or Ground-type move.
Head to the lower right portal for the next trainer.
Furisode Girl Katherine (Prize Money: P2,880)
After this battle is the Gym Leader, her first Pokémon is a Steel/Fairy type so again prepare your Pokémon that knows a Fire or Ground-type move. Enter the upper left portal for the Gym Leader’s room.
Gym Leader Valerie (Prize Money: P6,720 )
Use a Fire or Ground-type move against Mawile and it should go down fast. Sylveon is a pure Fairy type so you should be able to take care of it easily. Mr. Mime is part Psychic type so be careful if you are using a Poison-type Pokémon.
After the battle, you will receive the Fairy Badge. With this badge, all Pokémon up to LV80 will obey you. She will also give you TM99 Dazzling Gleam .
Exit this room via the upper left portal. As you leave the gym, Trevor and Shauna will invite you to visit the Pokéball Factory. It is located in the northwest part of the city.
