Valkyrie Attributes

Character stats is an integral part of any RPG game and Valkyrie Elysium is no different. Valkyrie has three key attribute categories that you can upgrade, increasing her stats and unlocking new abilities that will greatly improve your combat experience. In our Valkyrie Attributes guide, we will list down her stats and attributes.

Valkyrie Elysium is the latest title of the renowned Valkyrie series. Play as the Valkyrie as she purifies the land from evil in a collapsing world as Ragnarok looms. Summon the souls of chosen warriors called Einherjars to assist you in combat and unleash the power of Divine Arts to smite your foes.

Overview

Valkyrie has four attributes, which are directly influenced by her weapon, skill, and rune effects. She doesn’t have armor pieces or accessories so maintaining her stats is pretty easy and streamlined. There’s no “level up” system so your strength and overall progress will heavily rely on the skills you unlock. You can view these by opening the menu and going to the “Valkyrie” tab. The four main attributes are the following:

Valkyrie’s HP gauge is the green bar in the lower-center of the screen. This functions as you would normally expect on a HP bar. Whenever she takes damage, a portion of her HP gauge will be chipped away. When her HP is completely depleted, it’s game over. She can fully recover her HP whenever she interacts with the save crystal (Save Point), use healing divine arts, or through the use of health elixirs. Her max HP can be further increased by unlocking the necessary Support skills and using rare items like Ambrosia.

The Soul Gauge is the blue gauge below the HP gauge. This gauge is depleted whenever you summon an Einherjar in battle. The longer the gauge, the more Einherjars you can summon and the longer you can retain them. Like the HP, this gauge can be further enhanced by unlocking the necessary Support skills and using rare items.

Finally, we have the Art gauge. This is the orange diamonds under the soul gauge. To use your Divine Arts, at least one art diamond is consumed. This can be filled reliably by performing longer combos or using consumables. You can increase the art gauge diamonds by learning the necessary Support skills.

Valkyrie also has access to three Skill Trees namely Attack, Defend, and Support. We will list down all available skills for each tree in their respective sections below. In each skill tree, there are individual skills that you have to unlock by spending various “currencies” in the form of souls and gems. These are normally dropped by defeating enemies, destroying various objects, or directly obtained from chests. Completed quests can be tackled again, with all their objects, chests, and enemies completely refreshed so it’s quite possible to farm for these materials in case you’re short on them.

Attack Skill Tree

This skill tree focuses on bolstering Valkyrie’s physical and magic damage, as well as unlocking new offensive moves that makes it easier to chain attacks or even automatically summon einherjars to join in with the assault.

Defend Skill Tree

This skill tree focuses on improving Valkyrie’s defensive capabilities and improving her survivability. Aside from bolstering her damage reduction rate, she’ll also unlock technical abilities like quick evades, parry, counterattack, perfect guard, etc.

Support Skill Tree

This support skill allows Valkyrie to increase her maximum HP, Art, and Soul gauges. Aside from that, this skill also unlocks additional combat skills like Double Jump, Double Evade, and Finishers.
