Gnomes

There are 10 hidden gnomes in the game which unlocks a unique outfit if you manage to find them all. They’re not essential in the game progress and the outfit isn’t extravagant so just look for them if you feel like it. The RC jumper is an essential tool in finding these gnomes. In this section, we will include the individual walkthroughs of getting each of the gnomes as well as a custom map to help you find their general location.

Before setting off gnome hunting, there’s something we need to do first. Head to the Fisherman’s Wharf in northern San Francisco and locate the Seafood Restaurant. There’s a small gap under the stairs where you can send your jumper. Follow the gap until you find a gnome in front of a laptop. Interact with the laptop and if you look closely, you’ll find the map of San Francisco with the locations of the other gnomes encircled. (This gnome operator doesn’t count towards the 10 hidden ones)

Gnome 1

Aqueduct under The Theater, Oakland

To reach the aqueduct, you can find the stairs from the park leading to it or use a boat from the nearby dock. Once inside the aqueduct, keep an eye out for a couple of docked boats in an alcove. Disembark there and climb up the ladder to find the gnome sitting on a chair near the door.

Gnome 2

Tidis Warehouse

The gnome is found inside a doghouse near the gate. There are at least two guard dogs roaming the immediate area so you can knock them out using ESDs or stun guns then send your jumper to retrieve the gnome.

Gnome 3

Pawnshop, The Tenderloin

You can fast-travel to the pawnshop in The Tenderloin area. Inside, you’ll find this little guy in the middle layer of the electronics inside the pawnshop.

Gnome 4

Rooftop of Health Shop, two blocks north of Embarcadero Center

The gnome is located on the rooftop of the building with the Health Shop sign. However, the vent leading to the gnome itself is locked by a CCT located in the back alley. Head there and use NetHack view to find the CCT. Climb up the ladder to reach the opening of the vent near the CCT where you can deploy your jumper to hack it. You can use the nearby scissor lift to reach the reach rooftop easily. Deploy the jumper on the roof once again and enter the vent. Follow the path until you reach the gnome.

Gnome 5

Rooftop of Book Store southwest of Haum Data Center.

This gnome is found along with other gnomes and stuffed toys on the rooftop of the small bookstore. To reach the roof, you have to find the scissor lift parked beside the overpass foundation to the southeast of the bookstore. Bring it near the building and use it to reach the rooftop.

Gnome 6

Rooftop Park, Transbay Center

You can fast-travel to the eKart marker in Transbay Center the find the stairs leading to the rooftop park of the building. In the middle of the park, there’s a thick enclosed hedge. The gnome is inside and your jumper can reach it as long as it has the Enhanced Springs upgrade.

Gnome 7

Homeless Compound, southeast Transbay Center

This gnome is located on a small tub behind the tents of homeless people right beside a gang-controlled restricted area, near the ramp leading to the expressway. You can park a truck or van beside the fence, climb up, and have your jumper hop over the fence to reach the gnome.

Gnome 8

Rooftop of Taquiera Mexican Food

This unmarked food establishment is found in the block west of SFMOMA. There’s a scissor lift nearby so use it to reach the rooftop. The gnome is found in the corner of the rooftop.

Gnome 9

Rooftop Jacuzzi

Fast-travel to the Stache&Vine west of Mission Dolores Park and cross the street and go around the residential building. Make your way to the roof using the objects and ledges nearby to find the gnome by the jacuzzi on the rooftop. Take note that there’s a gang-controlled restricted area nearby.

Gnome 10

Rooftop Garden

This is found in the rooftop garden of the residential area west of Painted Ladiers. Find the set of stairs leading to the rooftop and you’ll find the gnome beside the stack of hollow blocks.

After collecting all 10 gnomes, head to the park southeast of the WKZ Station in San Francisco and find the tent in the corner of the park. The package containing the outfit is found inside. Collect it to add the gnome outfit to your collection.
