Pokken Updates:

Like most games in the current era of technology, Pokken Tournament is capable of a number of patches and updates to its current software. These patches are usually brought on to fix any issue, balance the software, or simply add a new feature. Any update will be prompted when you enter into Pokken Tournament - like all Pokemon Games - and can even automatically update itself if you have your Wii U setup this way.

Thus far, there has been only one Update to the Pokken Software:

Version 1.1

Released: March 15, 2016

Size: 370MB

Changes: Activates Online Battling Mode
