LAN Battles

Lan Battling is a hidden mode within the Local battling Mode that doesn't require one player to play on a Wii U Pad and another using a Controller and TV, and it also prevents the Frame Rate Speed from being halved. This is usually used in Competitive Competitions, where even frame is crucial.

Essentially, in order to properly activate LAN Battles you must have two Wii Us connected in one of three ways. After you have done one of three ways of connection, you must hold the L Button, R Botton, Down Button, and click the Start Button on the Title Menu in order to activate a LAN Battle.

Three Ways On LAN Battle Connection:

Home Networking:

Summary:

Done over a standard Home Network, where both Wii Us connect over. If other devices are using the same router for internet access, it can create a few bandwidth issues.

Hardward Requirements:

2 - Wii U Systems

2 - Pokken Tournament Softwares

2 - Wii U LAN Adapters

2 - Straight LAN Cables

2 - Televisions or Wii U gamePads

1 - Router

Setup:

On Both Wii Consoles: Go into Settings, then Internet, and connect to Wired Connection as the default.

Wireless Networking:

Basicall the same as the Home Networking Option, but done so without the Cables and Adapters. It could also have some internet interferences.
