Shadow Mewtwo Storyline

Shadow Mewtwo Storyline:

As you progress through the Ferrum League Game Mode, a short narrative storyline will also be activated. This story is about a mysterious trainer and her Shadow Mewtwo, and you will battle them on a number of occasions. It is up to you, eventaully, to save Mewtwo from the Shadow Synergy Stone.

Shadow Mewtwo Encounters:

First Encounter:

After defeating Travis, the Green League Leader, the Shadow Mewtwo Storyline will be activated. A mysterious trainer will appear and challenge you with her Shadow Mewtwo. This is only one of two battles with her that you have the choice to continue if you lose, and whether you win or lose, Nia and Travis will discuss the rumors after you battle about a mysterious dark Pokemon (Shadow Mewtwo).

Second Encounter:

After defeating Keith, the Blue League Leader, the mysterious girl and her Shadow Mewtwo will appear again. Nia, your advisor, will tell how the stone the Mewtwo has is absorbing Synergy Power before you go into your next battle with her. This is last battle that is loseable to the girl, and after the dust settles, Nia will note that the trainer may have been looking for your character all along.

Third Encounter:

After defeating Elinn, the Red League Leader, the mysterious trainer will appear once more. She wonders if you can achieve Synergy with Mewtwo, before battling you once again. From this point onward, all the battles with Shadow Mewtwo is forced to be won. After losing, Shadow Mewtwo will begin absorbing all the Synergy Energy and Gaia Power from around. It is then the mysterious trainer asks for your assistance, to help save Mewtwo.

Fourth Encounter:

After your battle with Shadow Mewtwo and its mysterious trainer, the Ferrum League is delayed because the lacking of Gaia Power prevents Pokemon from using their Synergy Burst. It is now that the mysterious trainer identifies herself as Anne, before explaining to you that the Shadow Synergy Stone now is influencing Mewtwo. She will then describe how Shadow Synergy Stones have opposite effects of regular Synergy Stones, as well as how Mewtwo has now merged with the Shadow Stone. She had tried to control the power, but again willnow ask for your assistance to stop Mewtwo.

After this, a secret area with unlock in the Regi Ruins and Anne will introduce you to a man named Walter. He will ask Anne if she has a special brooch that is part of a Synergy Stone, before mentioning the historical event that once took place where the brooch could control the Shadow Synergy Stone. He believes the brooch/stone can once again be called to do this in order to stop Shadow Mewtwo.

But before you can continue, Walter will challenge you to a battle with his Gengar to see if you have the potential to do this. After defeating him, which is forced to continue, he will inform you that the brooch's power has yet to be recovered and will then send you to battle against other trainers to help restore its power.

Fifth Encounter:

After defeating Walter, the next encounter will take place in the Blue Dome in the southeast corner of Ferrum where you will meet Nora. She will describe to you how the Gaia Power is still be absorbed, and then challenge you to a battle. Since the Gaia Power is being taking away, you won't have the ability to use a Synergy Burst. If you defeat Nora, the brooch will regain more power. It still won't be enough to defeat Shadow Mewtwo and the Shadow Synergy Stone, as its power is continuing to increasing.

Sixth Encounter:

After defeating Nora, the next encounter in the storyline will be done in the Dragon's Nest in the northeast corner of Ferrum. You will meet a man named Jake that wants to know all the details, but he will also battle you. After you defeat Jake, which is also forced, the brooch will almost be ready to face the Shadow Synergy Stone. But it doesn't matter, as there is no time left. Too much Gaia Power has already been lost you must challenge Shadow Mewtwo immediately.

Seventh Encounter:

You will then head back to the Dark Colosseum to take on Shadow Mewtwo for the final battle. When you find Shadow Mewtwo, the brooch will begin to react to the Shadow Synergy Stone. It will weaken it enough where you will start battling Shadow Mewtwo.

This battle with have three rounds to it: Rounds 1 & 3 must be won, Round 2 will automatically be lost. In the first round, you will have to keep Shadow Mewtwo under control and must win in order to continue. In the next round, Mewtwo will receive a power spike and will be able to utilize Synergy Burst. Youw ill be prevented from doing any damaged to it, and you will lose. But in the final round, Anne gives you the maximum Synergy Power which allows you to permanently have Synergy Burst. Win the final round and the battle will over, and the brooch will cause the Shadow Stone to shatter within Mewtwo. Mewtwo will return to normal

The End:

After the final battle, Mewtwo is saved. Both the brooch and Shadow Stone shatter under the pressure, and Anne leaves and takes whatever is left of the Shadow Synergy Stone back to her people. Mewtwo becomes unlocked as a character, and the player can continue on now with the Chroma League.

After defetaing the Chroma Legaue and unlocking Shadow Mewtwo as a Playable Character, you can replay this storyline as much as you pelase.
