Skill Levels

As you play through the Ferrum League and even Single Battles, your Pokemon will slowly earn Experience (like in all Pokemon Games). This experience will slowly level your Pokemon up, with a maximum of Level 100. And as you Level-Up your Pokemon's Skill Levels, you will receive a number of extra Personal Titles and even a Medal on the Character Selection Screen.

The most important thing about Skill levels are the Skill Points you will earn. These Points allow you to increase your Pokemon's Battling Capabilties in each of their stats, including their Attack, Defense, Synergy, and Strategy. The more Skill Points given to a Pokemon's Attack, the more damage with be dealt when in matches; the more Skill Points given to a Pokemon's Defense, the less damage they will take from opponent attacks; the more Skill Points given to a Pokemon's Synergy, the longer Synergy Bursts will last and the more Attack and Defense they will have during a Synergy Burst; and, finally, the more Skill Points given to a Pokemon's Strategy, the quicker Support Pokemon can charged and the more damage they will inflict.

Skills Points, however, cannot be used in Practice Battles, the Ferrum League Game Mode, or in Special Events. They can be used in Single Battles, Local Battles, and LAN Battles, but not the others.
