How to unlock:
A charged set:
B: Charged Shot. Charges up her arm cannon. Press again to fire. Can
hold the charge by moving to the side.
Side-B: Missile. There are two types of missiles. If you press over
and B at the same time, a Super Missile will launch. These
go in a straight line and inflict more damage. If you are
already holding over when you press B, a seeker missile will
launch. They don't do as much damage.
Up-B: Screw Attack. Spins violently while emitting electrical
Down-B: Bomb. Lays a Morph Ball Bomb. If you are caught in the
explosion, Samus turns back into a ball and jump up.
Samus uses her Grappling Beam to grab opponents. This gives here increased range.
Final Smash - Zero Laser:
Fires a massive beam across the field. Can easily engulf the entire field. The only problem is it travels slow and is very easy to dodge on large fields. Expect 40 damage and an easy KO if someone actually gets caught in the beam. After the attack, she will lose her armor and turn into Zero Suit Samaus.
Samus is purely ranged. She is slow in close and not horridly effective. Keep a charged shot up at all times and pound them with missiles. Her bombs work great for escapes.
Get in close and use your speed get around her melee attacks. She's pretty helpless up close, but if she does land an attack it will hurt, so beware.

Recently making a comeback to the gaming industry, Samus proves that she's still got it. Renowned for being a long range master with missiles and the charge beam, she is also one of the few characters to have a wall jump ability to get back in to the arena.
Standard: Charge Beam. Samus charges up a powerful shot, then releasing with an extra press of the button. If she is attacked while charging, the shot will be cancelled, though she can stop and store what is charged by tilting the control stick left or right to roll. If it is pressed is mid-air, she will fire off either a small shot or whatever she has charged up.
Side: Missile. Samus fires a missile at opponents. Depending on how the control stick is tilted, it will be one of two missiles; a homing missile the flie slower and is less powerful, or a super missile that is faster and more powerful, but flies completely straight.
Up: Screw Attack. Samus jumps upwards, spinning rapidly while surrounded by electrical energy. Anyone she touches is attacked rapidly by the spin and the energy.
Final Smash: Zero Laser. As a last ditch attempt, Samus charges up and fires a screen filling laser, causing severe damage to all opponents hit by it. The Laser is so powerful, it destroys Samus' Varia Suit, changing her in to Zero Suit Samus. Her suit pieces can be thrown about afterwards.
