Spirit and Shrine Guide

In story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, things may be normal at first, but there are some mysterious things that can occur as well. At the North of Olive Town, there’s a Shrine that you can view. There’s a special character that you’re able to meet there, and eventually you’ll be able to unlock different capabilities of the shrine.

In this guide, we’ll be talking about the Spirit who lives near the spring, as well as the Shrine by the tree. There are some features of the Spirit that you might need in the future, so let’s check how to unlock them.


Meeting the Spirit and unlocking Events

The Spirit of the Spring is a character that you’re able to meet based on how much Earth Sprites that you have uncovered. Whenever you do your daily farm activities such as chopping Trees, clearing grass, etc., you may notice small creatures that will run away. These are Earth Sprites, and you must uncover a certain number of them.

Once you have uncovered your first 30 Sprites, you’ll be able to see the Spirit for the first time. You will then have to unlock the next events in order to complete the spirit’s story. Here is the list of events available as well as the requirements.

Shrine Blessings

Once you have viewed the Spirit of the Spring Event, you’ll be able to interact with the Shrine and receive some blessings. Earth Sprite points can then be used on the shrine in order to get different blessings available.

The Shrine can also be used with Special Prayers where you can reset your family status in order to split up with your partner in case you are married. For more information about this, you can check our Divorce Guide.

Uncovering more earth sprites and using the points that you have at the shrine will help out with the improvement of your farm life. You’ll be able to get increased stamina for work, improve your field, and unlock more Animals that can be helpful.
