How to get in a relationship with a marriage candidate

In Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, getting into a relationship with a Marriage candidate is the same process for all Bachelors and Bachelorettes, and thankfully they’re quite simple to do. You’ll just need the dedicated time in order to maximize your relationship with them by filling out their hearts, as well as completing their heart events.

If you want to Marry a candidate, you’ll have to perform three steps which will help you in getting their hand for Marriage. You will have to follow these steps:

Step 1 – Reach 6 Hearts and Confess: All Bachelors and Bachelorettes have different heart events based on how much you have completed so far. The first step is reaching 6 hearts, and this is done by providing them with Gifts daily. Once you have completed the 6 Heart Event of a candidate, you’ll be able to confess your love. In order to do this, you will need a Confession Pendant which can be purchased at the Olive General Store for 10,000 G.

Step 2 – Reach 10 Hearts and Propose: As you continue your relationship with your partner, you will have to maximize your hearts with them and reach 10 in total. This will let you propose to your partner by providing them with a Blue Feather which can also be purchased from the Olive General Store for 20,000 G. Another requirement is that you should upgrade your tent to a Log Cabin.

Step 3 – Get Married Once your Wedding proposal has been accepted, you’ll be visited by Victor in order for you to be able to schedule your wedding. You’ll be provided with options whether the wedding will be held 5, 6, or 7 days away from the current day. You’ll then be able to choose your wedding outfit, and then get married on the day of the celebration.

Heart Events

All Bachelors and Bachelorettes follow the same pattern in order to trigger their heart events. You’ll be provided with specific scenes with a candidate upon reaching a certain number of hearts, and you’ll be able to trigger them with the correct requirements such as heart levels, time, Location, as well as weather.
