In Story of Season: Pioneers of Olive Town, being able to do your work and develop your farm will require you some different tools in your disposal. Since the farm that you have inherited was reclaimed by nature, you’ll have to take it up to yourself and restore it back to its glory.
One of the tools that you’re able to get in this game is the Sickle. Since weeds can grow on your farm often, you’ll need a tool to cut them down. In this guide, we’ll discuss how you can get it in the game, as well as its functions and possible upgrades. So, let’s get started and check more about this tool.
Aside from Trees and Rocks that can spawn on your farm, you’ll also have to deal with weeds that can sprout all over. In order to get the Sickle tool in the game, you’ll be provided with your first set of items by Victor once you start off in Olive Town. Three tools will be provided to you on your first day and this includes the Sickle.
Once you have received your tools, they’ll be placed in your tool bagwhich can be accessed in your inventory. You can then pull out the needed tools you’ll be using and place them in your inventory. If you don’t need to use the tools at the moment, you can place them back into the tool bag in order to have extra space for other items.
So, what are the main functions of the Sickle? One of the first tasks that you’re provided in the game is for you to expand on your land by clearing it. This means that you’ll have to remove Trees, Rocks, and grass that has covered up your farm. The Sickle is used for cutting down the weeds or grass that you’re able to find sprouting all over your farm. One of the tasks of farming is growing Crops, and you’ll need space on your land for that. If weeds cover the ground, then you won’t be able to use it.
While using a Sickle, you can stand in front of weeds and start cutting it. You’ll slice through the weed quickly with your Sickle and use up stamina. The materials you get can be used for making hay in order to feed your Animals, and they can be used as materials for Crafting other objects. Some repairs on your farm will also require them as well.
