In Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, gaining Income through various ways aside from farming can help you in the progression. One of the ways in order to get extra Money is through Fishing, and there are a lot of types of fish available. Aside from fish, there are other sea creatures as well such as crabs, mussels, and more.
In this list, we’ll provide you with the information on how to get fish as well as how the Fishing rod works, we’ll also provide you with the list of fish available in the game which includes the different required rod upgrades.
In order to get fish in the game, you’ll require a Fishing rod which you can get from Manuela in Marcos’ house. Starting out will provide you with the basic rod, and specific fish can only be acquired with it. You can then upgrade your rod at Worker’s Base Tool Shop.
Upgrading your rod will expand the type of fish that you can get, and Fishing will be much easier as well. Once you get a bite from your rod, you’ll have to reel in the fish and watch out for the fish icon. Only reel in if the icon is blue or white.
Fish can be sold for Profit, or you can provide them to the Olive Museum as well in order to be a part of the display. There’s an Aquarium for viewing at the basement area of the Museum, and your help is needed in completing them all.
