How to Make Money

In order to develop your farm in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, you’ll have to increase your income in order for you to spend on things that can help develop and improve your current work. With more money, you’ll be able to purchase more seeds that you can grow, and you can also upgrade your tools in order to make work more efficient.

So, how do you make money in this game? In this guide, we’ll provide you with ways for you to learn how to increase your income. As you progress in the game, you’ll improve your work and money will start coming in. Eventually, you might not even know what to do with it!

Grow specific crops per season

Your main sources of income are for you to grow seeds, and eventually harvest the Crops in order for you to sell them. There are however, some specific seeds that you’ll want to grow in order to maximize the money that you can make. You can check our list for different crops that you can grow, but we have a suggestion for which seeds you can grow to be the most profitable.

Majority of your seeds can be purchased at the Olive General Store, so don’t forget to check their seeds whenever a new season has started. The list below is our suggestions:

Improve the quality of your crops

Aside from selling the Crops that you have grown; you can also increase their quality by improving your Skills. One of the skills that you’ll want to improve on is your Fieldwork skills, they can provide better quality for your harvest.

Not only do you want to increase their quality, but you’ll want to upgrade your corresponding tools as well such as the Hoe, and Watering Can. Once you have maximized your tools and Skills, you’ll be able to harvest high quality Crops in no time.

Sell extra Fish and Treasure

One of your main activities in the Olive Museum is for you to improve their display by providing them with Treasure that can be appraised, as well as Fish that can be caught. These however, are only done for the first time, so you won’t need to submit it any longer to them.

You can sell extra Fish and Treasure that you acquire when you go Fishing or Draining. As you improve these Skills, you’ll also be able to get bonuses for getting better quality fish, or perhaps you can get increased profits by maximizing fishing and draining.

Sell your Town Medals

Whenever you complete a Title, you can get rewards at the Olive Town Hall. The rewards that you get from requests and Titles can sometimes have items that you can sell for money. Whenever you receive Bronze, Silver, or Gold Medals, they can be sold in order for you to gain more income.

You can check our Title Guide to see which activities you can work on. There are a lot of rewards available for you, so don’t forget to check them at the Olive Hall. Since there’s a lot of Titles available, you’ll be able to build up your rewards.
