There are a lot of activities that you can do in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town. Almost every little that you can do can correspond to a skill that can be raised, and this includes talking to the Residents! There are a lot of skills available, and you’ll get benefits from raising them too.

In this guide, we’ll check how skills work, and the benefits of maximizing the skills. Knowing more about what the skills can provide you will help out on which ones you want to focus on. So, let’s check which skills are available in the game.

What are Skills?

When starting out in your farm, you’ll notice that performing the activities in order to clear your land as well as sowing seeds will let you learn skills as well as Titles that will let you know about your success. Skills are things that you do based on your activities. For example, chopping Trees down in order to clear your land increases your logging skill, and smashing Rocks with your Hammer increases your mining skill.

Check your skills in your notebook

You can view the different skills that you have acquired so far in your player notebook. The list of skills will be shown there, as well as the level progression. Each level that you unlock will provide you with specific beneficial traits, and they can also unlock Crafting Recipes for you.

In order to check which items can be created, you can check out our Crafting guide as we have provided the list of items based on the skills that can unlock them. In this page, we’ll be checking the different skills and traits that you can acquire.
