On your first week on the farm, you’ll be experiencing different kinds of weather since it’s Spring. One of the weather experiences you’ll have is rain, and this will lead to water puddles around your farm that can obstruct your progress. In Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, you have the Bucket Tool that can help you clear out puddles, as well as small pools of water in order to get Treasure!
In this page, we’ll discuss about how you can get the Bucket Tool in the game, as well as learn about its functions in the game. There are some materials that can be acquired from cleaning puddles, and small pools of water at your farm’s extended area, so let’s check what this tool can provide for you.
So how can you obtain the Bucket Tool in the game? You’ll notice that when you experience rain on your farm for the first time, you’ll find puddles of water on the ground that can get in your way. You won’t be able to till them with the Hoe, and they can get in the way of items that can be placed such as makers.
You can get the Bucket after a day of heavy rain. Clemens will visit your farm in the morning and provide you with the Bucket tool. Like the rest of your tools, it will be placed in your tool bag so you can have space for your regular inventory. It won’t rain all the time, so you won’t need to use the Bucket often anyway.
So how is the bucket used? The Bucket isn’t a tool that you place items inside to carry around. Here, it’s used for scooping actions. This can be used on puddles to remove water and get some clay, and you can also clear out small pools of water and possibly get Treasure that can be appraised.
Simply stand in front of the puddle or pool of water, then use the tool. You’ll need repeated actions for pools of water, and this can consume stamina. Upgrading your bucket tool will let you scoop more water; therefore, it will be more efficient for you when clearing water.
