In Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, there are different people that you can meet and form friendships with. As you check your notebook, you’ll find that the Residents have different heart levels. Maximizing the hearts lets you get different scenes with these characters, and any marriage candidate can become your partner.
In this guide, we’ll check how you can marry a character of your choice. You’ll learn about friendship points, heart events, how to propose, as well as the process of getting married. Don’t forget to check our list of bachelors and bachelorettes as well in our guide!
So how can you get married in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town? Well, before you get married with a candidate, you’ll have to start a relationship first. In order to do this, you’ll need to increase friendship points and then confess your love to your chosen character.
So how is friendship earned? Friendship points are acquired through different means of interacting with the Resident you are talking to. In order to reach marriage requirements, you’ll need to maximize their Hearts to level 10. Here are the different friendship points and their levels:
Heart | Friendship Points |
---|---|
1 to 4 Hearts | 4000 Friendship Points each |
5 to 7 Hearts | 5000 Friendship Points each |
8 Hearts | 6000 Friendship Points |
9 Hearts | 8000 Friendship Points |
10 Hearts | 10,000 Friendship Points |
Reach 6 Hearts and Confess: All Bachelors and Bachelorettes have different heart events based on how much you have completed so far. The first step is reaching 6 hearts, and this is done by providing them with Gifts daily. Once you have completed the 6 Heart Event of a candidate, you’ll be able to confess your love. In order to do this, you will need a Confession Pendant which can be purchased at the Olive General Store for 10,000 G.
In order to reach 10 Hearts, you’ll need a maximum of 56,000 Friendship Points. You can acquire Friendship Points through the following actions:
One of the requirements for marriage is for you to upgrade your home from a tent to a Log Cabin. On your first days of the farm, Victor will visit you and introduce you to Nigel who runs the workshop. You can upgrade your home for 2000G and 20 pieces of Logs. Once you have unlocked the Log Cabin, you can event start Cooking, taking a bath, and have a Pet.
Reach 10 Hearts and Propose: As you continue your relationship with your partner, you will have to maximize your hearts with them and reach 10 in total. This will let you propose to your partner by providing them with a Blue Feather which can also be purchased from the Olive General Store for 20,000 G.
If the proposal doesn’t go according to plan, you might get rejected. This is due to you not completing the requirements such as missing a heart event, or you haven’t maximized their hearts to 10. Check your Notebook to see how much friendship you have maximized.
Get Married Once your wedding proposal has been accepted, you’ll be visited by Victor in order for you to be able to schedule your wedding. You’ll be provided with options whether the wedding will be held 5, 6, or 7 days away from the current day. You’ll then be able to choose your wedding outfit, and then get married on the day of the celebration.
The different outfits you have worn during your wedding can be acquired as well after the ceremony. You can have them made through Karina, but they will require specific materials as well as a lot of Money. Here are the items as well as the materials:
