To Catch a Coon

Head outside of the Freedom Pals HQ to receive a transmission from Mitch Connor/Coon telling you to go to the locations he’ll specify on foot - without fast travel. The first location is Tweek Bros Coffee in the northeast part of town. Talk to the man in the red shirt inside the store to get a call from the Coon. He’ll tell you a riddle about the next location.

Your next objective is Jimbo’s Guns. But as you leave the store, you’ll run into an ambush by rednecks, ninjas, raisins girls, 6th graders, and crab people. You’ll have no choice but to defeat them. There are no other gimmicks or reinforcements in this battle; just focus your attacks on one target at a time then use an ultimate attack to damage/defeat multiple enemies at the same time.

Once clear, head to Jimbo’s Guns and take a selfie with the guy with a blue shirt to get a new follower and complete Coon’s instructions. He’ll give you the next location’s riddle.

Head to the playground and talk to the woman in a blue shirt. Next, take a selfie with her to get another follower and complete Coon’s task.

Wait for the transmission from Call Girl then head over to the community center. You don’t need to walk over there anymore since the Fast-Travel Points are now reactivated. Meet up with the other freedom pals outside of the building to storm in and confront Connor. After the short scene, you’ll be thrown in a boss battle against him.

Coon/Mitch Connor has a lot of HP and some nasty tricks in his sleeve such as extra turns, dictated status ailments, reflect damage, etc. Focus your attacks, preferably long-ranged ones with knockback and status ailments as well. Bring a party member that can heal and buff at the same time since you’ll need Protection to have a damage buffer against physical damage, allowing you to concentrate in healing the HP loss caused by status ailments.

When his HP is down to around 30%, Coon will be able to mitigate and reverse damage with his deflector shield on. With the shield up, avoid attacking him and concentrate in healing up until the shield wears off in the following turn. Resume your attacks and use an ultimate if it’s ready. Repeat this process until you defeat him. You’ll receive the Heavy Hand of Deception, Spire of Domination, $6.55, and 125XP.

After the battle, head back to the Freedom Pals HQ to torture Coon. Choose whatever food you want to eat to generate a fart that can make the Coon talk. Just continue with the session until he talks. Mission complete!
