Alternate Universes Collide Again

Head to Kyle’s house again and follow him to their home’s backyard. You’ll find his annoying cousin invading his space again and he’ll need your help in throwing him out. You’ll have to fight him with your team. If Human Kite is originally part of your combat party, he’ll sit this one out and his slot in your team will be automatically replaced by another combat buddy.

The imposter human kite is alone but he has two layers of barriers that you have to break through. He also has ranged AoE attacks that can hit multiple targets at once. Start by flowing through the barriers. Charging attacks are very effective against these obstacles. After breaking down the barriers, pummel the target and he should go down easily.

After the brief scene, you’ll move to the second phase of this battle where you’ll have to fight the imposter again with Shiela. The imposter will apply a Protection power on himself. Next, attack Shiela and Human Kite will join in on the enemies’ side to protect his mom. It will be better if you can use Taunt to keep Shiela preoccupied. Craig will be a good party member here in locking down Shiela so your other three party members can focus their attacks on the much weaker Human Kites.

Fortunately, Shiela also doesn’t have that much HP for a bruiser. You can gang up on her and use knockback combos to easily defeat her. Next, Human Kite should be soft enough to be taken out in 1-2 turns. With the annoying kid left alone, you shouldn’t have a hard time finishing him off since he’s really weak.

After the battle, you’ll have to retrieve the kite from the tree. You’ll need a Buddy Power to reach it and you’ll unlock a new one right now. Enter inspection mode then hover the cursor on the pinwheel. Toggle the icons with Q or E until the kite icon is selected. Press spacebar to select it.

Next, stand by the buddy power silhoutte by the tree then press spacebar again to trigger the buddy power. Press F as the prompt appear to propel yourselves with the power of your fart to the branch near the kite. Retrieve the kite then press spacebar again to jump down back to the ground.

Finally, this new buddy power called “Fartkour” will be permanently unlocked and the mission will be complete.
