Lost in Blue

Hunting Quest: Slay 20 Baggi

Reward: 900z
Contract: 100z

Time: 50 min.
Area: Tundra
Unstable Environment

The Baggi has a move set similar to the Jaggi you're  used to facing by now. Baggi are also similar to Jaggi in appearance and size but boast a slightly higher attack power and more health, which is likely hardly noticeable at this stage of the game. The Baggis' one unique attack, which they rarely use, is a short-range projectile that can inflict the Sleep status ailment. If hit by a Baggi's projectile, down an Energy Drink (combine Honey with a Nitroshroom) to prevent your hunter from falling asleep.

Be sure to remove the Heat Drinks from the Supply Box along with the Map and First-aid Meds, as well as the Torch if you plan to mine in Areas 4 and 5. Drink a Hot Drink to raise your hunter's cold endurance. Hot Drinks are necessary on the Tundra map in every area aside from Base Camp. A cold hunter's stamina bar will deteriorate much more rapidly than default.

You must kill 20 Baggi to complete this quest. There are two Baggi in Area 1, three in Area 2, four in Area 4, four in Area 7, and 12 in Area 6.

You'll find the most Baggi in Area 6.

The only way into Area 6 during this quest is through Area 5. The Baggi in Area 6 won't be there right when you enter the area. It seems these Baggi must be triggered. Climb up onto the platform on the east side of the area, kill the two Baggi and Giggi there and then destroy the two Giggi egg sacs. Afterwards, look down from the platform and there should be six Baggi standing there. Twelve Baggi will spawn in this area, so keep killing them and move on to another area once you've reached that number.

Be careful in the dark cave areas (Areas 4 and 5), as the environment for this quest is unstable and you may very well encounter a Gigginox.
