Lock on

You can lock on a target by pressing L. This will automatically adjust your camera view to track the selected target and allow you to land your attacks more accurately. It’s quite important in pulling off air combos and critical hits. This can be used as a defensive feature as well since you’ll be able to see where the target is coming from and the its attacks. It’s recommended to track bosses to be able to maintain your full attention when fighting them. Fortunately, the game will automatically lock on to officer-type enemies, not just ordinary foot soldiers. If you’re fighting against multiple trackable enemies, you can switch who you’re targeting by tilting the analog stick left or right.
