1. Awakening Gauge
This is the blue vertical bar beside the hero’s portrait. Press R to activate and enter Awakening mode. This can be replenished by picking up blue recovery items or filled up slowly as you defeat enemies.
2. HP Gauge
Indicates the character’s health. This can be replenished by picking up green health Drops, using vulneraries, healing staves, etc.
3. Warrior Gauge
When one or more bars are filled, you can unleash a powerful attack called Warrior Special (see below) It slowly fills up as you defeat enemies or pick up yellow recovery items.
4. Support Unit (Paired only)
Displays the character you’re paired up as support.
5. Dual Strike (Paired only)
When the Weapon Gauge is full, press R+Y to perform a Dual Strike to order the support unit to attack the enemies in front of you. This attack can break through enemy guard. If the support unit’s weapon that has advantage over the enemy, Dual Strike will always trigger a Stun Gauge. This gauge also fills up as you attack enemies while paired.
6. Dual Guard (Paired only)
When a vanguard is attacked while paired and with the Shield Gauge is full, Dual Guard will automatically trigger and the support unit will appear to guard against that attack. The Shield Gauge will fill up as you attack enemies while paired. This is quite beneficial especially against bosses since they tend to attack more aggressively. And cause a lot of damage especially in hard mode.
7. Number of healing item uses
Displays the amount of uses remaining for the currently equipped item (vulnerary or staff)
8. Playable characters
Playable characters will be listed here. Quickly switch to them by pressing Up or Down DPAD.
9. Objective notification
You can view the current mission objective listed here, as well as the counter of the remaining target forts, enemies, or objects to destory.
10. KO Count
Keeps track of the total number of enemies KO’ed by the allied forces. Useful when you’re anticipating Anna to appear on the 1000th kill.
11. Current Gold
Current gold obtained in the battle. This will also increase post-battle once the bonuses and mutipliers are added.
12. Weapon advantage/disadvantage
This designates whether the enemy you’re engaging is weak against your weapon. Upward arrow means that the enemy has advantage against you, while down arrow indicates you have advantage against the enemy.
13. Stun Gauge
This gauge appears when striking an officer-type enemy or boss with a strong attack, and when your character’s weapon is not at the disadvantage against the target (see Weapon Triangle below) The Stun Gauge will appear briefly and will disappear if you stop hitting the target. Once it’s completely depleted, your character will perform a Critical Hit/combo that will that will deal extra damage and reset the stun gauge. Bosses normally has “tougher” stun gauges and their stun gauges disappear quickly as well.
