Chapter 15: Taking the World Tree

Victory Conditions: Defeat Gharnef.

Defeat Conditions: N/A

Anna’s Condition: Defeat 1,000 enemies.

First Memento

After reaching 1,000 kills, Anna will appear between the W Tree Fort and the Great Tree fort as shown below:

Second Memento

This will become available after finishing the main story once, and obtainable only by replaying the mission in Hard or Lunatic difficulties.

Anna’s Condition: Find the real Gharnef within five minutes of his shadows appearing.

Continue with the mission until you defeat the first Gharnef in the N Tree Fort. After defeating him, he’ll return with three shadows scattered in the Map. The real Gharnef is found in the southeast field of the map as shown below. Approach him and attack him until you get an update to take out the two mages creating the shadows. Now take out those mages immediately to complete the task and remove all the shadows, leaving the real, injured Gharnef nearby. Anna will appear in the same vicinity as Gharnef. Make sure to get the memento from her before defeating him and complete the mission.
