Chapter 11: Crown Prince Xander

Time Limit: 60:00

Victory Conditions: Reach Xander and seize all forts.

Defeat Conditions: Xander falls in battle.

Anna’s Condition: Defeat 1,000 enemies.

First Memento

After reaching 1,000 kills, Anna will appear outside of W Marsh Fort. If the fog is not dispelled yet by the time you reached the required number of kills, you’ll have to manually navigate through the fog and rely only in your sense of direction. She shouldn’t be that hard to find considering that the fog-covered area isn’t that large anyway. Thankfully, she has a very visible name tag which will also help you locate her faster even from a relative distance.

Second Memento

This will become available after finishing the main story once, and obtainable only by replaying the mission in Hard or Lunatic difficulties.

Anna’s Condition: Defeat three or more of the enemies attacking Xander while two of Xander's Mercenary guards are still alive.

As soon as the mission starts, take control of Elise (or anyone with heal for that matter) and head through the foggy marsh. You have to look for the gatekeeper somewhere in the northern-middle portion of it. After defeating the gatekeeper, you’ll have access to the castle interior where you’ll be able to reach Xander and his bodyguards being cornered by heavily armored knights.

Elise should be the best option in this task since she can keep Xander’s mercenaries alive through active healing while also being capable of dealing heavy magical damage against them. Otherwise, you’ll have no choice but to use brute force and take out the knights as quickly as you can using Dual Specials or Awakening.

After successfully meeting the requirement, Anna will appear in the Great Hall in the northwest corner of the Map. She won’t appear immediately even after completing the specific task needed so keep an eye out for the mercenaries and keep them alive while you’re capturing other forts.
