Possibly, if you worked hard enough. You have two too many water pokemon. Plus, your Gyarados is a dual-type water/flying type which will make him 4 times as weak to Pikachu. Your charizard MAY stand a chance if you level him up enough. Right now as he stands, he will be decimated. Throw in a rock type, a fighting type, and a dark type Pokemon and your set.

Now all team ratings are to go to the forum dude.
Nevermind if you are new but your team I can only give it about 7/10.

All your strongest Pokemon are only water type. That means that Red's Pikachu and Venusaur are going to kick your team's asses. It will be hard but you might be able to win if you use lots of potions.

Uhh people on here aren't helping you:

Yeah you got some water, doesn't mean you can't beat around the bush on it, teach feraligator ice beam and earthquake and that should take care of pikachu and vensuar, and I think with that you should be good, make sure feraligator has some high strong normal move too, really your feraligator has the potential to beat red alone, but bring the other Pokemon, even bring a 6th weak guy that knows flash to light up the cave, that way if all your Pokemon die, put him out, then use revive to get your team back in the game, good luck, pikachu is the first pokemon out, so be ready with earthquake, should be able to take it out in one hit

You need to train that charizard to level 70 or higher and you have too many water types. You need every types of Pokemon to defeat red(specificly fire, grass, electric, psychic, water and fighting)because he has evey type too. Also they have to be at least lvl 70 or higher.

This should help alot so plz rate me so I can make sure.

No I think your more than ready for Red. You don't have too many water Pokemon, because the only Pokemon of his that water is weak against, is his Venusaur, in which case then you must use your Charizard, solved
