how to get to pallet town

This is Pokemon gold, I believe you are talking about red, blue, or yellow. If you are talking about gold, I have no idea. But on red blue and gold if you can get to lavender town then go all the way to the left and through the underground road (don't battle that trainer if you want to do the Mew glitch) and end up in celadon. Go to the left and use cut on the tree and go through the top building and there will be a house. Go in and talk to the girl and she will give you HM02(fly).

In Pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal you must go to vermilion City which has Lt.Surge's Electric gym, go by the docks, then go right until you reach diglett's cave go through diglett's cave and end up behind the tree's that have pokeballs right by Route 2if you have a Pokemon that know cut keep it in you're party, to cut the tree's, ang go either to pewter city, viridian, or pallet town.

When I get to diglett's cave snorlax is on the way,I thought I could use roar but.....,then when I go to cerulean's cape bill's grandfather is there he needs to know Pokemon that has leaves growing in it's head,I think it's bayleef

First beat every gym that you can in kanto, the go to the power plant and talk to the manager, as you walk out of the power plant a guy will say that a shady person was seen in cerulean. Go to cerulean and find him in the Pokemon gym, he will run off to nugget bridge, battle him and and go to the Pokemon gym. The machine part you need to find is in the water ( just keep pressing a while surfing) Now go to the power plant and return the missing part you found and travel to lavender town, where the kanto radio tower is, talk to everyone there and one of them should allow to use the kanto radio in the pokegear. Go back to vermilion where the snorlax is and start playing the channel 'pokeflute' and press infront of snorlax to place the radio, beat it or catch it and go through diglets tunnel to get to pallet town. :D
