Can I catch bulbasaur, charmander, and squirtle in gold?

Unless you have a cheat device you need to use the time machine and trade with red, blue or yellow I reccomend trading with yellow because it gets all three of the Pokemon you want.
ON route 44 surf until you found a Grass search there... but 15-30 mins. before you encounter bulbasaur lvl 234 But if you catch...it will turn into lvl 100 !! try it! im training my pidgeot lvl.36 but i encounter a lvl 234 bulbasaur.....i catch him with master ball !!
I caught bulbasaur in gold using no cheats in the cave right before your face the elite four. If you leave the elite four building and go into the cave, just walk around a bit.
Ive been using an emulator because my old gbc, and gba systems are long dead to play gold. Been prolly 8 years since I've played I think, not sure. Anyways, I found bulbasaur right outside pallet town, lvl 40, not sure if it's just the rom being messed with or if thats where you find him. Dont remember ever finding em like that on my old cart but I could be mistaken.
